FAQ

Quick answers before you book.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Pricing depends on size, placement, detail, style, travel, and how long the piece is expected to take. Most approved custom pieces start around $250, and larger or more detailed work is quoted after I review the full request.

How long does a tattoo session take?

Smaller simple pieces may take 1 to 2 hours, while more detailed custom work can take several hours or multiple sessions. I’ll give you a realistic time estimate after reviewing the design, size, placement, and setup.

What happens if my request is approved?

If your request is approved, I’ll contact you by email and text with pricing guidance, available date options, and the next steps to reserve your appointment. Once the deposit is received, your session is officially held. Before tattoo day, I’ll confirm prep instructions, space setup details, and anything you need to know so the appointment feels smooth and professional.

Do you bring the studio to me?

Yes. Once the idea and space are a fit, I bring the private tattoo experience to you.

Do you tattoo in Baltimore City or Calvert County?

No. I do not offer mobile tattoo appointments in Baltimore City or Calvert County because mobile tattoo shops are not permitted there. If your appointment space is in Maryland outside of those areas, you can still apply and I’ll review the location before anything is reserved.

Do you do coverups or exact copies?

No coverups, reworks, or exact copies right now. References guide the vibe, but the final tattoo should be custom.

What should I have ready for my appointment?

Have a valid photo ID, your references, a clean prepared space, comfortable clothing that gives access to the tattoo area, and water or a snack if the session may be longer. I’ll send any specific prep notes before tattoo day.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

Follow the aftercare instructions I give you after the session. In general, keep the tattoo clean, wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, moisturize lightly when needed, avoid soaking, direct sun, and picking while it heals.

Can a tattoo affect my job or career?

Possibly. You are responsible for making sure the placement works for your job, school, military, licensing, uniform, or future career goals. I am not liable for workplace or career consequences caused by tattoo visibility.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

It reserves your appointment time and covers prep once approved. Deposits are non-refundable, but a timely reschedule with 2 weeks’ notice keeps it active. Emergencies are case by case.

What improves my chance of approval?

Clear references, realistic size, good placement details, honest space notes, and a design direction that fits my style.
